Portocolom

Picture each place as a memory waiting to be made

A unique village, a fishing port in Felanitx, or a place surrounded by Mallorca’s most beautiful coves. Portocolom is a natural harbor visited since Roman times, dotted with crystal-clear coves and crowned by the Riuetó—a floating walkway that reflects the village’s history.
In recent years, it’s become a haven for travelers seeking a quieter side of Mallorca. Its connection to the Mediterranean has been admired since ancient times—and still is, thanks to its stunning white-sand coves.

Cala Marçal Beach

If Portocolom is hard to describe due to its many charms, Cala Marçal Beach is even more so. Tucked within the municipality of Felanitx lies the mouth of a stream, where waves don’t reach and the sea remains calm. It’s a summer favorite among both locals and tourists and includes the nearby Sa Nau cove.
It’s a must-see on your trip—and not the only one. A perfect place to spend the afternoon, enjoy a snack, and catch the last rays of sunshine. It’s one of those unforgettable memories that will make you want to return the moment your flight takes off.

Drach Caves

Located in Porto Cristo—just 25 minutes from Portocolom—the Drach Caves invite you to descend 25 meters underground and explore over 1,200 meters of pathways. Hop on a small boat and reach Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world. Impressive, right? Wait until you see it with your own eyes.

Ses Salines Lighthouse

At Mallorca’s southern tip stands the Ses Salines Lighthouse, a symbol of the complex relationship between humans and the sea. It was built 60 meters inland from the original plan due to fear of the sea’s strength. Its light still shines just as it did in 1960—a rare feat in Spain.

Cala Sa Nau

The highlight of your vacation might just be a sunset at Cala Sa Nau. At the end of a winding 300-meter path, you’ll find a small area of white sand. It’s accessible by car and has a beach bar where you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the sea breeze.
